10 year Anniversary Pocket Tee

As some of you may know, Cut Cats Courier is quickly approaching our official ten-year anniversary. Cut Cats has existed in some form since late 2009, and at the time, we didn't have a clear picture on how serious this business would become. However, in 2012, we decided to kick our service up a notch and we got our LLC.

At that time, most of us had come from companies run by people who were generally disconnected from the labor involved in a courier service, and because of this, we wanted to make sure that the ownership remained in the hands of the individuals providing the labor to the company; thus, we decided to structure the business as a cooperative.

The last ten years have been filled with trials and errors in how to do this properly. We have amended our operating agreement multiple times over the decade to better suit our situation at that time, and we expect to implement even more changes over the years to keep up with our growth. The most integral part of our business structure will always remain. Cut Cats will always be a company owned by the people who work here. And we hope that the next ten years will be as collaborative as these first.

Over the years we have also had the great opportunity to work with some great local artist. And for our 10 year anniversary we wanted to bring some back to create something new.

Murphy Welch was one of the first. He provided us with one of our favorite designs, the "Discat" crew neck sweatshirt. Like us, Murphy's style has evolved and changed over the years though and this new piece is highly reflective of Murphy's current creative direction. We couldn't be happier with how it turned out.
